I filed a mistake transfer claim and didn't get my money back, what can I do?
If the reason for the refund is unavailability or refusal to return the funds, you can check the availability of the funds through the Deposit Insurance Corporation.
However, please check the website of the Deposit Insurance Corporation for the exact availability of the application.
- You can only apply if the amount of the mistransfer is more than 50,000 won and less than 50 million won.
- The application date must be within one year from the date of the mistransfer.

If the recipient of the erroneous remittance does not voluntarily return the remittance at the pre-return application stage through the financial company, the sender of the erroneous remittance applies for return support to YEBO, and if eligible for support, YEBO purchases the unjust enrichment return bond from the sender.
The Deposit Insurance Corporation secures the contact information and address of the recipient of the erroneous remittance through financial companies, telecommunications companies, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, etc.
Based on the contact and address information, the KDIC invites the recipient of the erroneous remittance to voluntarily return the money.
④If the recipient of the erroneous remittance does not respond to the voluntary return, we will proceed with the recovery through a court order.
Upon completion of the recovery, the balance is returned to the sender after deducting the cost of recovery from the amount recovered.
